INFLUENCER
  
Any person who has the power to affect or shape the purchasing decisions of the customers with the help of his/her knowledge, skills, authority, relationship is known as Influencer.
Influencer may include people which are very much known to the customer.  


Types of Influencers


On the basis of number of followers on social media such as Instagram, Facebook, Youtube Influencers may be of the following 4 types :-
  1. Mega Influencer 
  2. Macro Influencer 
  3. Micro Influencer 
  4. Nano Influencer   


1. Mega Influencer 

      An Influencer who has 1 million plus followers on Instagram or 1 million plus subscribers on Youtube is said to be a Mega Influencer.
Mega Influencer has divided audience, is expensive and has low personal engagement with people.



2. Macro Influencer

         An Influencer who has 1 lakh to 10 lakh followers on Instagram or 1 lakh to 10 lakh subscribers on YouTube is called a Macro Influencer.
Macro Influencer is helpful for the company who sells only a specific brand. 


3. Micro Influencer 

          An Influencer who has 10 thousand to 1 lakh followers on Instagram or 10 thousand to 1 lakh subscribers on Youtube is said to be a Micro Influencer.
Micro Influencer has strong engagement with the people and has defined audience. They usually make travell videos and hence the audience are interested in travel. 


4. Nano Influencer 

           An Influencer who has 1 thousand to 10 thousand followers on Instagram or 1 thousand to 10 thousand subscribers on Youtube is said to be a Nano Influencer.
Nano Influencers has limited audience, engaged audience, personal bonding with audience and not expensive audience. 

Brand now-a-days are moving towards Nano Influencers.

Influencer Markrting is one of the form of Social Media marketing. Influencer Marketing basically means endorsements and product placement from Influencers, people and organisations who have expert level of knowledge or social influence in their respective field.
